Don Octavio
Don Octavio was an opera singer and a mob boss, who was found in Venice Italy in Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves. Octavio, passionate about opera, wanted to gain attention and attraction to his personal opera performance and retore the love of opera in Venice. He planned to do this by strategically destroying many landmarks around the city. His plans were foiled when confronted by the Cooper Gang.
It was during this time, that Murray was practicing "Dreamtime" magic which involved resistance to violent responses to situations. At first, he refused to help Sly and Bentley fight Octavio. However, when Octavio attacked and mocked Bentley, and then insulted Murray, Murray then lost control of himself, reverting back to the Murray that we know and love. Murray then faced off against Octavio, defeating him and leading to Octavio's arrest.
During his childhood, Octavio's love for opera continued to grow, and he evantually became well-known for his talented voice. He was said to be the "next great tenor" by many. Unfortunately, just as Octavio's career was on the rise, there was a sudden change in musical taste and interest. Many people turned away from opera to listen to other generes, such as rock. Octavio managed to retain a few opera fans, who were ultimately members of the mafia. These fans took in Octavio, which led to Octavio's eventual rise to the ranking od "Don", within the Mala del Brenta.
