Sly 2: Band of Thieves was the second installment of the Sly Cooper franchise and was released for the PlayStation 2. It introduced the ability to not only play as Sly himself, but also his partners in crime: Bentley and Murray, in the open world of the Cooperverse.

In Sly 2, The Cooper Gang set out on a mission where they must find and collect all the Clockwerk parts. Each part of Clockwerk is being used by various villians to commit crimes, such as money laundering. The Cooper gang needs the Clockwerk parts so they can destroy them, stop the crimes, and end Clockwerk for good.
