Sly Cooper and The Thievius Racoonus, (Developed by Sucker Punch Productions and published by Sony Computer Entertainment), was the first ever Sly Cooper game that originally came out on PlayStation 2.

This game introduces us to the world of Sly as we know it, as it goes in depth of Sly and his gang's childhood and how they banded together to take back what is rightfully theirs! Sly Cooper, Bentley, and Murray take on a mission to defeat the main villian, known as Clockwerk. Clockwerk is known as the leader of The Fiendish Five, a group of evil criminals who attacked Sly's father and stole the Thevius Raccoonus, a book that was passed down many generations of Coopers which held the skills and knowledge of the Cooper ancestors.
